How I wore it: witty title and post missing

Ugh. Tired. Spent afternoon out in broiling Athenian sun. Bought some stuff. Will show later.

Saw the latest 'Harry Potter' movie in 3-D. Headache. Love Alan Rickman. Love his voice. Poor Snape. Must reread books now...

In other news, am still seriously considering growing out my hair. Fickleness galore.

Good night!

Grey dress: Old Navy
Brown sandals: Madden Girl, by way of DSW, remixed

  1. Hmm, and I'm considering chopping all of mine off...

We went and saw HP this weekend and I kept leaning over to The Rocket Scientist and going "I don't remember this from the book..." Apparently my memory from five years ago is not so good.

  2. I like the dress! and the telegraphic writing style. Sampled a 3D tv last weekend--could not stand it.

  3. Katie, the grass is always greener... my issue is that I'm in a foreign country, away from my stylist, and about to hit the awkward stage. When it's freshly chopped, I'm much happier. Also, with the movie, I didn't remember stuff either. Oh, well, it was still fun.

Terri, the dress is new and I'll promise I'll feature it more centrally later. I actually do not enjoy 3-D at all, but my sister-in-law really wanted to see HP in THAT format and none other, despite the fact that it really didn't bring anything to the movie... *grumble, grumble*

  4. Snape - he was so misunderstood! I love the dress and hope you are having fun in Greece :)

  5. DON'T GROW OUT THE HAIR! Okay, sorry. Panic unneccesary. Obviously, it's your hair and you shoudl do what you wish. But I am straight-up obsessed with this haircut on you. I don't think I've ever seen anyone outside Hollywood look so incredible with short hair. Seriously. Not joking. Really. :)

Also, love the glasses with the cropped cut and the maxi. It's all such a nice combo of angles and styles.

  6. I really love your short hair! However, as someone who changes hairstyles frequently, I understand the desire to change.

Alan Rickman is a god among men. I may require some Colonel Brandoning later this week.

  7. Allison, YES! Because I'm a bit of a hormonal, heat-induced mess these days, I totally bawled (SPOILER ALERT) at the end of the movie - which was heavy-handed, although I liked it in the book - when we find out that Harry's kid is called Albus Severus Potter. AWWWW!

Sart, thank you for your comment! You alone are responsible for making me rethink my decision. Really. I thought about this all day: you make me feel warm and fuzzy. :)

Raquelita, I was actually thinking of that cute bob you got when you started growing out your hair with envy. My husband totally doesn't understand why I want to keep on changing my hair - he thinks it's part of a psychological breakdown when I'm all "...I'm bored..." And, oh, Colonel Brandon...
